You will be taking the risk of being discovered and your product being forced to be relabelled with a correct barcode.

How I can verify that the barcode can be read correctly?
If you have a smart phone (iPhone or Android operating system), you can download a free application to read barcodes (go to the iPhone App Store or Android Market and search for "barcode").
